About Us
The Vancouver Cruiser Club is a group of PT Cruiser enthusiasts who wanted to form a club that was honest and organized. A place to meet new friends and enjoy outings in a relaxed environment. Mutual respect among members is expected. We collect annual dues of 25 dollars a year to help with administration costs. Meetings are held monthly and sometimes twice a month in the Surrey area.
NOTE: We are not associated with, nor do we endorse BC Cruzers Club and or Custom Cruisers .
HisTORY
The Vancouver Cruiser Club is very young. Our members felt there needed to be something better out there for a club, where they could have a positive experience. So in summer of 2008, we had our first gathering and formed the Vancouver Cruiser Club. We appointed a President, Vice president, Secretary, Treasurer and 2 Directors. The next step was to incorporate our name under the societies act. As of August 18th, we became a non profit , registered car club - society in British Columbia. Interest in our club has been very positive in a short time. The next year promises to be a great one and we welcome anyone interested to join.
Our MEMBERS
Our club members enjoy the friendships and comradery that goes with it. We attend events like local show and shines and plan regular cruises. We also try to support charities whenever possible. We also have Christmas gatherings as well as other gatherings throughout the year. Members are all encouraged to actively participate in all functions as well as the planning and idea process. Everyone has equal input. It isn't the administration that makes the club work, but the members as an active whole.We enjoy members of all age groups and families as well. All you need is a love for your PT CRUISER and the desire to have fun with others with the same interest. Some members cars are completely stock and original. Others have been slightly accessorised, while others have been modified and customised. Whatever you prefer, members enjoy exchanging ideas, information and any help they can offer one another.Overall , it's a great time.
